Dates: 6th October 2025 –  12th December 2025 | Weeknight Competition

Watsonia Heights FC is excited to welcome teams to Watsonia Cup 2025 – a high-energy, midweek summer football competition for players aged U7 through to U13, with both boys and girls divisions.

Back and bigger than ever, this year’s event introduces:

• U7s (5v5 format with goalkeeper)

• U12 & U13 divisions (9v9 format)

• U8,U9,U10,U11 as normal too

Competition Details

• 10-week tournament (Oct–Dec 2025- inline with term 4)

• Game nights: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

  • Nominate your preferred night during registration – we’ll do our best to accommodate

• Boys & Girls teams welcome

• Played on a top-tier synthetic 4G pitch – no weather cancellations

• Football Victoria (FFV) format rules apply

• Guaranteed 10 games per team

Team Entry Costs

• U7–U11: $660 per team

• U12–U13: $770 per team
  Entry includes all grading, competition and finals games, plus referee coverage

Player Registration Guidelines

• U7–U9: Max 13 registered players

• U10–U13: Max 15 registered players

• Players can be added or removed during the season with organiser approval

• To be eligible for finals, players must have participated in at least 3 matches

Competition Format

• Weeks 1–3: Grading rounds

  • Teams placed into Premier or Championship divisions based on results

• Weeks 4–9: Main round-robin competition

• Week 10: Finals week

  • All teams will play a final based on their finishing position

  • Every team finishes the season with a finals-style experience, that could result in a penalty shoot-out!
